Advancedultrasonic principle
The propagation speed of sound in air will be superimposed with the velocity of wind in the wind. If the propagation direction of ultrasonic wave is the same as that of the wind direction, its speed will increase. Otherwise, if the direction of propagation of ultrasonic wave is opposite to the direction of wind, its velocity will slow down. Therefore, under fixed detection conditions, the velocity of ultrasonic propagation in the air can correspond to the wind speed function. Accurate wind speed and wind direction can be obtained by calculation. As the sound waves propagate in the air, the velocity of the sound is greatly influenced by the temperature; the anemometer detects the two opposite directions on the two channels, so the influence of the temperature on the velocity of the sound wave can be ignored.
The ultrasonic wind speed and wind sensor uses four ultrasonic probes to circulate and receive ultrasonic waves in the two-dimensional plane, and measure the wind speed and direction by the time difference of the ultrasonic wave in the air.
